Looking for a Senior UNIX (Solaris ) System Administrator in Cleveland, OH. Rate is open and it is an expense paid project for a non-local candidate.
Position: Senior Unix (Solaris) System Administrator
Pay rate: open, rate plus expenses for non-local candidates
Duration: 3~ 6 months
Location: Cleveland, OH
Background check: required
References: at least two professional references required
Required skills:
·Senior Sun Solaris System Administrator with 10-15 years of IT experience.
·Senior-level knowledge of Solaris administration - Solaris 10 and infrastructure build and deployment experience.
·Should be proficient with system installation, configuration and integration in a mixed platform environment.
·Prior experience in Oracle Applications Suite migration from Sun Solaris Server (T5220 series) to the latest server (M8000), running on Sun Solaris Operating System. Migration includes all setting up/migrating all underlying infrastructure components( Oracle cluster ware, ASM and other related OS patches that support RAC).
·Prior experience in migrating various applications in to latest hardware/servers on Sun Solaris Operating System (system 10) environment.
·Experience in Planning, installation, configuration, monitoring and deployment of Unix Servers.
·Experience in AIX environment would be a plus.
·Knowledge and experience in - Scripting, Veritas NetBackup, Sun Secure Global Desktop, Disc Storage, Solaris Volume Manager, Veritas Volume Manager,Virtualization (Containers, Logical Domains, Mid and High level System Domain), System Resource Management, Volume Management, SAN, Veritas Cluster, Knowledge on Oracle, DNS/DHCP, Web services via Tomcat/Apache etc.
·Should have good communication user interaction skills.
