We have an immediate requirement for an Application Support Engineer/Java Support Engineer from one of our client in Pleasanton, CA.

THIS IS A CONTRACT-TO-HIRE OPPORTUNITY.
Job Responsibilities & Requirements:
The primary responsibilities will include:
* Monitoring of application processes/jobs/db/logs etc
* Start/Stop scripts
* Manual processing/generation of files
* Debugging issues
* Coding limited to automation of jobs/scripts
Additional Requirements:
*Background in java to debug.
* Strong in XML and UNIX/LINUX command sets.
*Experience in any programming language(s) is a big plus.
*Familiarity with different Application Servers (preferably IIS, JBOSS and Tomcat).
* All resources should be proficient in UNIX and comfortable with database queries
* Working on ITRs - analysis, resending/restaging files, rerunning jobs etc
* Adhoc report creations
* Back end data updates/clean-up based on CRs/ITRs
