Apple´s App Store is the world´s largest and most innovative software store, serving tens of millions of iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad customers. The App Store is looking for a dynamic, highly motivated individual to join the App Store Editorial team. This position is responsible for the discovery, selection, programming and promotion of featured applications on the Mac App Store. Working under the direction of the Apps Editorial Manager, he/she is tasked with ensuring all applications selected for promotion are tested and scrutinized to the highest level of standards. Critical to this position is the ability to find great new apps, which best express the Mac App Store's editorial voice and Apple brand.

The ideal candidate lives and breathes Mac apps. Skills essential to this role are: expertise in Mac desktop applications, hands-on experience editorializing software, a strong understanding of good user-interface design principles, an eye for design, experience working with a content management system, and a passion for apps.

This person will be responsible for working with various internal teams to manage the featured content production workflow and prepare the selection of featured apps on a weekly basis.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Curate and editorialize content for the Mac App Store on a weekly basis.
- Enable the discovery of apps by creating compelling and relevant theme collections.
- Communicate weekly apps selection with executives.
- Write promotional text for the featured apps.
- Coordinating new weekly editorial features with design/production.
- Program featured content on the Mac App Store.

- Previous experience in an editorial or content marketing role.
- Excellent understanding of the depth and breadth of Mac software.
- Proven ability to manage to deadlines and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Mastery of UI principles and best practices.
- Familiar with Mac app review sites.
- Ability to think strategically and tactically.
- Must be resourceful, creative and results oriented with high energy.
- Comfortable working under weekly deadlines.
- BA/BS required.
