Web 2.0 UI Developer


Our client is looking for a user interface developer to enhance the look and feel of our current and future products. The User Interface Developer will work with business stakeholders, product managers and development team to design and develop the new interface. This individual will have the responsibility for adopting new Web technologies, re-designing existing Web applications and developing user interface standards.

Responsibilities:

* Use JavaScript, Ajax, JSON, XML and other web services technologies to create a web 2.0 user experiences.
* Conceptualize and design interfaces in collaboration with business
* Develop wireframes and HTML mockups
* Maintain cross-application user experience consistency
* Develop standard widgets and templates that can be reused across multiple applications.
* Work within defined project schedule
* Interact with design, backend and product teams on usability, features and performance
* Collaborate with architects to develop and utilize state of the art technologies

Requirements:

• Well versed with JavaScript. Experience building JavaScript prototype, classes etc.
• Solid understanding of AJAX
• Working experience with JSON
• Knowledge of optimizing HTML, CSS and JS loading
• Experience using J2EE web UI technologies such as: Java, JSPs, Tag Libraries, JSTL, the Spring Framework, etc.
• Deep understanding of one of the modern JavaScript libraries preferably JQuery, YUI
• Knowledge of Java MVC frameworks preferably Spring MVC
• 1-2 years of professional related experience


Qualifications:

BS /MS in Computer Sc & Engg or related subjected areas
