Senior Software Engineer needed for long term client project. Client is stable and growing company.
Responsibilities: Contribute to the development of Mobile Applications for Retail Commerce. Looking for a self starting, energetic individual with excellent written and communication skills, who is a great team player, but not afraid to question assumptions and take initiative. As part of the Mobile Engineering team, your responsibilities will include working closely with other engineering team members and interacting with product, design, content, QA and many other groups to lead and deliver world class engineering products in an exciting fast-paced environment. Your work will focus on building high throughput, high performance, reliable, server-driven touch application architecture, features and UI.
Required Skills:
- 1-2+ years of proven experience in shipping successful iOS or Cocoa based applications
- In-depth experience in object-oriented programming (Objective-C Required), Services Oriented Architecture, and Data structures
- Expertise in client-side web development (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AJAX) and experience with incorporating web technology in iOS apps a plus
- Java skills a plus
- Experience in designing and building server-side web applications (WebObjects preferred; J2EE, Struts, Tapestry and/or Rails accepted) a plus
- Participate and actively involved in team and organization wide architecture discussions and software development best practices
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
