User Experience Designer/Sr. User Experience Designer – Clearwell Systems – Mountain View, CA

The User Experience Designer will research workflows, study user behavior, collaborate with team members, and apply best practices/heuristics to design requirements for product development that constantly raise the standards of usability. The position will report to the Lead User Experience Designer and will play an integral role in helping define Clearwell's singular vision for a consistently excellent user experience for business users across the globe.

Responsibilities
• Understand customer workflows, business needs, and behaviors
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering and other User Experience Designers to ensure best practices and a consistent unified vision for all products/features
• Solve subjective usability problems within business/development constraints under time pressure
• Create compelling visual designs
• Work with a team to design interaction workflows, wireframes, rapid prototypes and conduct rapid testing
• Develop high fidelity prototypes and conduct rigorous user testing
• Define UI specifications, produce final assets for the product and ensure correct implementation

Qualifications
• 5+ years designing workflows, wireframes, prototypes and optimized assets for application development
• Mastery of graphic design using tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, etc
• Ability to create new aesthetic designs as well as create seamlessly consistent enhancements
• Expert knowledge of user-centered application design and usability research/testing methods
• Expert ability to create high fidelity prototypes and conducting rapid user testing
• Experience hand coding HTML/CSS
• Working knowledge of EXTJS and jQuery JavaScript libraries
• Working knowledge of agile development process and methodologies
• Positive attitude, ability to work with cross-functional teams, and ability to brainstorm creatively with others
