Job Description:
Our client is a fab-less semiconductor startup located in Fremont. The are developing wireless chipsets which will facilitate delivery of HDTV and other multimedia services over standard WiFi Networks. They are seeking a DSP/Systems Engineer to add to their team.

In the position of DSP/System Engineer, the candidate will work on implementing new algorithms and techniques for wireless communication systems. Candidate will work closely with the senior system engineers in implementation, optimization and design of complex algorithms and integration of the system. Must be able to conduct C/Assembly coding of DSP functions, system design, performance optimization and architectural trade-off for hardware and software implementation.

Required Skills:
Requires MSEE or PhD
Minimum 3+ years of experience.
Must have an in-depth knowledge of wireless communication systems.
Prior experience with the design and implementation of algorithms for wireless chipsets.
Must have experience with DSP and C programming.
Must have strong competency in communication and signal processing algorithms and understand DSP architecture.
Prior start-up experience a plus.
