Job Title: UI Software Engineer/internet fraud intervention

Job Description:
Our client is a private company with locations in Santa Clara and Scottsdale, AZ. Their niche is internet fraud intervention. They are seeking a strong UI Software Engineer to add to their team, either in Santa Clara, CA or Scottsdale, AZ.
As the successful candidate, you will be a member of the UI team building dynamic web applications. You will rapidly prototype new designs and interaction concepts, and collaborate with the product team and expert solutions consultants to build cutting-edge user experiences. The environment is fast-paced and dynamic, and you should be comfortable juggling multiple projects, working both independently and as a member of a team.
Required Skills:
Real world experience building customer-facing applications using modern technologies (such HTML5, CSS3) on various browsers (IE, Firefox, mobile browsers)
Proficiency in web-based technologies including JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, XHTML, DHTML, JSON and is comfortable coding custom, high performance JavaScript solutions
Understanding of Java/J2EE technologies including servlets, JSP, JSF, and XML processing
Strong understanding of user interface design, cross browser environments, client-side performance issues, and experience with at least one JavaScript debugging tool
Passionate about the user experiences and enjoy working closely with the design, product, usability and testing peers
Demonstrate ability to translate user insights into exceptional user experiences
Experience with rapid prototyping yet can develop high-performing, production quality code
Exceptional debugging and profiling skills
Experience in handling multiple, time sensitive projects and activities simultaneously
Have at least 5+ years of relevant experience and a degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Desired Skills:
Experience developing with Groovy/Grails
Experience with dynamic scripting languages such as Groovy, Python, Ruby
Experience building applications using GWT and the Java language
Experience with Java frameworks, Spring, Struts, Apache, Tomcat, Maven, ANT
Experience developing on application servers such as Apache Tomcat, WebLogic, JBoss, etc.
Experience working with RESTful API services, SOAP web service, XML, JSON and OAuth authentication
Experience with Hibernate
Experience with relational databases (MySQL, SQL Server or other RDBMS
Experience working on accessibility and internationalization
Some travel required
